Stamp duty, registration charges, brokerage, interest rates, rents, and property-growth assumptions used in the calculators are indicative estimates that change frequently — stamp duty and registration rates in particular are set by individual state governments and are often revised (commonly with each state budget). The default values are starting points, not authoritative quotes.
